The 2012 Masters, a quick trip to 1912.
The golf that the One Percenters play is often simply amazing and the white sacks that their caddies are required to wear are hilarious, unless you have to wear one - now or ever.

It's a hoot listening to Mike Tirico extoll the virtues of "Tradition" as so important to the Masters' cachet, when not long ago Mike would not have been allowed to broadcast from the grounds, as women remain excluded today.

Keep your spikes on, boys. The testosterone soaked grounds are slippery.

Augusta National, an institution keeping tokenism alive and well.

Baseball stats - The Ryan Budget of Sports
Jason Verlander pitches 8 shutout innings and gets... a no decision. Valverde gives up 2 tying ninth inning runs blowing a win for Verlander - and a save - but gets the win when the Tigers score in the bottom of the ninth. Nothing is as it appears to be.

Oh, welcome to the AL East, Valentine.

National (Corrupt) Collegiate Athletic Association at Work
Speakng of One Percenters, the NBA is about to raise more than a dozen freshmen and sophomores to that lofty status. I would like to thank the N(C)CAA and the prep school departments of Division I colleges and universities for running one of the biggest, most profitable entertainment franchises in the world.

Curt Schilling is an ass...
for no more particular reason today than yesterday. I just feel it's important to end a post with a statement that we can all agree on.

Have a nice day.
