HERE AND THERE

***EXPENSIVE SEATS AREN'T ENOUGH***
Picasner has noticed, as he drives down the road, there are all kinds of things for sale in people's yards, from cars to ATVs to toys. The economy is such that people are trying to make some extra cash any way they can. So are the Yankees. They're not selling those $2600 seats fast enough (No, really), so they've come up with a new method of income: selling grass. Yes, you can buy some Yankee Stadium Turf for approximately $1.50 per square foot, five sq. feet minimum. I'm not talking about turf that was once in the old stadium, but from the company that is supplying turf for the new stadium. I wonder if I can get some autographed by Derek Jeter? What's next, paint chips?

***NATIONALS WILLING TO MAKE A TRADE***
The Nats are trying to trade Nick Johnson (now that he's off the DL), but aren't having much luck. The only offer so far, is from the Mayo Clinic.

***I GUESS THEY WON'T HAVE TO PLAY THE GAME***
Elena Bergeron of ESPN, has decided that Syracuse doesn't have much of a chance against Oklahoma. She says that Oklahoma forward, Blake Griffin, will eat up the Orange 2-3 zone. He'll have a field day on the boards and will probably score 20-30 points. If Devendorf and Rautins can hit ALL of their 3-point shots, they MAY stay in the game for a while, but Griffin will see to it that Syracuse has no inside game. Gee, maybe Griffin will trip over his cape on the way onto the court and fall on the 'S' on his chest. That will give Syracuse a chance.

***THEY'RE STILL PLAYING?***
It's true. The WBC is still going on. and on. and on. The Sports Reporters have discussed the best time to play this tournament and have decided the best time is...never. I agree.
